- Learning allows us to discover what kind of person we can be.
- Learning widens knowledge, improves intelligence and provides a sense of achievement.
- Learning from a book, should be efficient and enjoyable.
- Post-it notes are useful! Keep a scrapbook handy.
- Now and then remove some post-it notes before you revise a page.
- After, put them back and see what you think - better or worse?
- Learn from paper – at your speed, and allow your mind to wander!
- Think about how what you have read can be used.
- If you read a text for study, summarise some sections you read, in your own words and images, aloud and then on a page.
- Read a section again. Repeat this until you can clearly summarise what you read in your own words and images, aloud and then on a page
- And enjoy the telling others - aloud!
