Track layout.

 

1. Note that there are three points at Station A and two at the foot of the page.

3. A pupil can be  the Station Master who places pupils as signal box operators - S B Os -  at the top and foot of the track.

5. It’s 4 ft square.   Plenty of jobs!

7. The S B Os need to be well coordinated.  However, rail accidents happen and must be dealt with.
